Here Are Six Major Activities of Maritime Dept. This Year

Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept. is prioritizing six activities in 2018.

This year we will try to hit Rp 92 percent

Those six activities are food security, Muara Angke Port area revitalization, urban farming, fishery cultivation development, fostering and entrepreneurial growth and poultry shelters and slaughtering house relocation.

Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept. Head, Darjamuni said food security activities are related to the fulfillment of basic food needs, affordable price and safe from hazardous materials. While for urban-related farming, will optimize the utilization of empty land.

"And for fishery cultivation, we will develop it in Seribu Islands. We will also grow and guide the entrepreneurship through concept of OK OCE," he stated.

For poultry shelter and slaughtering, will be encouraged to the poultry-slaughtering house. As for the revitalization of Muara Angke Port area, is hoped could be complete this year.

"Last year the Key Performance Index (KPI) was already achieved, ranging from document submission of fishing vessels, control of harmless food and rabies anticipation," he expressed.

He explained, the KPI target by 80 percent of fishery document compliance could be achieved. While for the control of harmless food managed to achieve 98 percent from the target at 95 percent.

Besides KPI, the achievement realization of budget absorption last year also exceeded the target. From the budget absorption work contract of 90 percent, has realized 91.68 percent or Rp 389,711,007,271 of the total budget by Rp 425,069,074,902.

"This year we will try to hit Rp 92 percent. For last year's retribution, we managed to hit 108.71 percent," he told.
